Case Study North 4
A two storey, detached property was extended and adapted internally to suit the needs of a disabled client. Internal doors were widened throughout to provide full wheelchair accessibility to the ground floor. Walls were removed to form an enlarged bedroom area with a small self-contained kitchen facility.
The property was extended to the rear to include a light, spacious Therapy Room with vaulted ceilings and a large En Suite shower room.
Externally, the garden levels were raised and new pathways were formed creating level access from the Therapy Room to outside. A pitched roofed car port was constructed to the front to provide covered access to and from a vehicle.
